Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery is conveniently located in the Oxley Park Neighbourhood Centre off Childs Way (H6), near to the V2/H6 Roundabout. The new purpose built nursery provides outstanding facilities for children aged from 3 months through to pre school age and is registered with OFSTED.
The nursery is equipped for 82 children on roll throughout our four rooms.
Monkey Puzzle practice Learning through Play for the childrens progress and development, using the Early Years Foundation Stage as guidance for the childrens development. All staff are qualified to Level 2 or 3, the Deputy is Level 5 and both the Deputy and Manager are completing their A1 Assessor Award.
All keypersons are available to parents at all times, to discuss your childs development. Written summaries on your childs development are given to parents at the end of each term.
Babies, Tweenies, Toddlers and Pre School all benefit from their own large, dedicated, well equipped areas as the nursery offers over 4100 square feet of accommodation. Each of the areas have their own brightly coloured, child friendly toilets and changing facilities.
The large outside play areas are well equipped and stimulating, designed to burn off energy and encourage role play. The area is also equipped with the latest impact resistant surface to ensure peace of mind when tumbles occur. There are parking facilities outside the nursery for easy drop off and pick up
A new nursery manager was appointed at Milton Keynes from August 2009. She has 20 years experience in childcare and ran her own nursery for 14 years with good to outstanding OFSTED results. Lots of new and exciting things are planned for the future of Monkey Puzzle Milton Keynes, such as working alongside the new Surestart childrens centre which opened in Oxley Park in June 2010. Our nursery manager is on the advisory board for the surestart centre and we aim to deliver holistic care for all childrens needs to parents in Oxley Park and surrounding areas. Monkey Puzzle Oxley Park is open from 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday
Our preschool is government funded so the children can have 15 hours of FREE education and care per week, the term after their third birthday.>
